This article is a step-by-step guide on how to get started with Code Inspector! In less than 2 minutes, you will learn how to create a project, add a code repository (from Github, Gitlab or Bitbucket) and get your code statistics!
Step 1: Login with your Github, Gitlab or Bitbucket account (or create one).
Go to www.code-inspector.com/user/login and login directly with either your Github, Gitlab or Bitbucket credentials.
Step 2: Create a project and link your code repository
Once logged into your Code-Inspector account, create a project.
Enter the project name and a description of your project.
Once this is done, you will then see that your project does not have a repository associated with it. Click on “Add a repository” then.
All repositories associated with your Github account will be available (either public or private). Select the repository you would like to associate to your project to go ahead.
Step 3: Done! Let the engine run and it will
Once the repository is added, it will take few minutes to be analyzed and get the code quality metrics.
